About

The research partner advisors were missing.

AdvisorIQ is an AI research and compliance copilot for independent financial advisors. Every answer is cited to its source. Every interaction is logged to an audit-ready trail. It does the research before the meeting and catches portfolio drift after — without the compliance risk of consumer AI.

Why we built it

Over the last year, nearly every independent advisor we talked to was quietly using a consumer AI assistant for research. They'd paste in a question — “what does Apple's 10-K say about China exposure?” — get back a confident, polished paragraph, and use it. Sometimes in a client conversation. Sometimes in a written note. Sometimes, with crossed fingers, in a compliance memo.

Nobody felt great about it: “I know the citation might be fake but I don't have time to check.” “If a regulator audited me on this I couldn't tell them where it came from.” The existing AI tools for advisors weren't solving this — notetakers sit in your meetings and write summaries, but they don't do the research, fact-check the sources, or keep an audit chain for AI outputs.

So we built AdvisorIQ to do the research advisors are already doing — but with every claim cited, every interaction logged, and drift surfaced as a daily signal instead of a quarterly surprise.

What we believe

  • Cited research

Every claim is grounded in a source chunk — SEC EDGAR, FRED, financial news, your firm's documents — so it survives a compliance audit.

  • Compliance built in

Portfolio drift fires as a signal the day it crosses your IPS bands, not three months later at quarterly review. Every interaction is logged.

  • Household data model

Real advisor data is families and entities, not flat contacts — multi-member households, joint accounts, trusts, and per-member IPS.

  • Does a few things well

Not a CRM, not a notetaker, not a planning tool. AdvisorIQ complements your stack instead of trying to replace it.

If you're an independent advisor who's ever pasted a question into a consumer AI assistant and wished there were a better way — we'd love to talk.
